How to press a Direct to Film Print (DTF Transfers) onto a garment. 

Pre-press garment for 5 second at medium pressure on a good quality heat press

Position the DTF transfer films onto the garment and add a Teflon paper onto the design

Press at 150 degrees Celsius for 10 second

Allow for the garment to cool completely as the DTF transfers are cold peel only

Peel the Direct to Film Digital transfer (DTF transfer)

Place on the heat press and place baking paper on the top and repress for 5 second

DTF FAQ's

Where can I pick up my DTF gang sheets from?

You are more than welcome to pick them up from 1/62 Destiny Way, Wangara, Perth, WA once we have emailed you to state that they are ready.

How long will DTF prints last?

Over the last few years we and advancement of printing technology DTF prints are proven to last for at least 30 washes.

Are the any minimums?

With DTF transfer we can print a single garment just like we do with our embroidery service.

What type of logo file is required for DTF?

We prefer .ai or .cdr files for printing in a vector format or a high resolution .png file. Unfortunately files generated from Canva, .jpeg or Chat GPT which we get send often are not suitable for printing.

What types of garments can you apply a DTF print on?

We can DTF print all garments as long as they can lay flat on our heat press. Most common items include hi-vis polo shirts, office polo shirts and t-shirts.

Can I heat press the DTF print using an iron?

The simple answer is NO, our DTF prints require a commercial press as they need to be pressed at 150 degrees under high pressure to ensure durability.

Can we buy just the DTF ready to press transfers?

Yes you can, we sell gang sheets to B2B customers in Perth or we can ship them Australia-Wide.
