FAQs
What is the difference between day and day/night hi vis tops?
Day-only tops use fluorescent yellow or orange fabric for daytime visibility. Day/night tops add reflective tape, in hoop, H-pattern, X-back or Biomotion layouts, for low light. Hi vis garments are made to AS/NZS 4602.1 and tape to AS/NZS 1906.4, so check each product page for the class and compliance details.
Which hi vis colour should I choose, yellow or orange?
Both are Australian safety colours. Choose the colour your site, client or employer specifies, as some sites and rail operators require a particular colour.
Can I add my company logo to hi vis tops?
Yes. We offer embroidery, screen printing and digital printing on hi vis tops, all done in house, with no setup fees or digitisation charges when you supply a high resolution vector file. Screen printing black logos on hi vis fabric or dark garments can attract a colour change charge, so ask us about your artwork.
How long does a custom hi vis order take?
From artwork approval, allow about 1 to 2 weeks for embroidery and screen printing and about 1 week for digital printing. Garments that are not in stock locally can add time, so contact us for tight deadlines.
Can I mix sizes and styles on one order?
Yes. You can mix tops, sizes and styles as long as the logo is the same size on every garment. Kids’ sizes may need a smaller logo, which can add a charge.
Do you do bulk orders and uniform ordering for large teams?
Yes. We supply many small and large businesses, and can set up an online ordering portal and a 30 day credit account for larger companies. Email us your garment guidelines to get started.
